There are nowhere higher rates of ticket printing and ticket reading as in the parking systems, where there may be up to 5000 ticket readings per day at the high frequency exit barriers. It is therefore all the more important that the ticket readers/printers are regular cleaned, it does not matter whether tickets with magnetic stripe or with barcode are printed or read. Also the thermal printing heads of the receipt printer should be cleaned regularly.
As the cleaning methods for all other functions (paying with debit or credit card, with banknotes or coins) were already described in the other parts, we shall limit ourselves to ticket coders/readers.
